Teen Tuesday – Add Your Vote to Teens’ Top Ten!

Twenty-eight teen titles have been nominated for this year’s Teens’ Top Ten sponsored by YALSA, the Young Adult Library Services Association.  Take a look at the list below.  How many have you already read and which ten would you consider the best books of the last year?  Now’s your chance to vote for your favorites!  From August 15th to September 15th, readers aged 12 to 18 can vote online at http://www.ala.org/yalsa/reads4teens/.  The ten winning books will be revealed during Teen Read Week, beginning October 12th.  Go here for a pdf format of the nominees or click on the titles below to request the books from our library catalog.  There’s still plenty of time to catch up on a few titles before voting ends on September 15th.  Let your opinion count and don’t forget to vote!
